The Alarm Association of Rhode Island (AARI) is a non-profit trade association consisting of companies which are primarily in the electronic security and fire alarm business, as well as other aspects of public safety.  Established in 1973, AARI has continually worked with police either at the local and state levels to develop new ordinances or by helping our customers have a better understanding of the ordinances which affect their systems.  AARI has also works with legislators to promote consumer safety.  AARI is committed to promoting and maintaining the integrity of the electronic security industry.  AARI provides training throughout the year for its members to allow them to keep up with the fast pace of the security industry.
